Summer Bible Studies 2019
Tuesday: A Woman's Heart. God's Dwelling Place.
Starts May 28th in the Pairs & Spairs SS Room B-26 // 6:30 – 9:30pm // $19.00
This class is open to high school & college girls.
About this Study:
Perhaps no Old Testament event so dramatically illustrates God's persistent desire to relate to His children as the building of the tabernacle in the wilderness. Through the tabernacle God initiated a deeper relationship with His Chosen People by bringing reconciliation and revealing His glory. And certainly, no Old Testament event so richly prefigures the coming of the true Tabernacle, Jesus Christ.
In this in-depth Bible study you will be challenged to prepare your heart, like the holy of holies, to become a home for His love and glory — a dwelling place for the Most High God.
Cary Dowse will lead the 11-week Bible study, A Women's Heart. God's Dwelling Place by Beth Moore this summer. The class will meet on Tuesdays starting May 28th. Interested ladies will need to contact Cary to join and for workbook orders. (229-834-1673)
Wednesday, June 12th – July 31st in the Massey House // 9:30 – 11:30am
This class is open to all women.
About this Study:
Joy is the constant companion of the woman who trusts in the Lord. And while you can find it in friends, family, and circumstances, unfailing, persistent joy will only ever overflow from your relationship with Jesus.
Just ask Job, the man from Uz who clung to God’s goodness while all his worldly joys were stripped away. But how is it possible to hold onto such joy in times of sorrow? In this 7-session study by Lisa Harper, discover the redemptive side to Job’s story of suffering. Learn to use pain to strengthen your faith, point others to the gospel, and remember God’s providence will never take you to a place where His grace will not sustain you.
Jamie Bone is the teacher. Email her to join the class. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
